Danny Green

Initially coming in fifth on the forwards Golden State should consider prior to free agency last week, veteran Danny Green remains an option if the franchise wants to add further championship experience to the roster.

Green has been one of the best catch-and-shoot three-point specialists of his generation, proving valuable to a plethora of playoff teams on his way to three titles with three different organizations.

Even upon return from a torn ACL, Green shot 43.2% from deep in his 11 regular season games this season. That injury has put his career in question though — at 36-years-old, Green would probably play more of a small-forward role with the Warriors rather than at the two where he’s played the majority of his career.

T.J. Warren

With the Poole-for-Paul trade going down on draft day last month, Golden State have undoubtedly lost an element of individual shot-creation and shotmaking from their second unit. While T.J. Warren doesn’t necessarily fit the mould of a Warrior style player, he could still prove a savvy pickup given the need for scoring punch off the bench.

Warren made his return initially with the Brooklyn Nets, having played just four total games across in the previous two seasons. He was traded to the Phoenix Suns in the Kevin Durant deal mid-season, playing 42 total games in the regular season and a further six in the playoffs.

The 29-year-old averaged 7.5 points and 2.9 rebounds, shooting a healthy 48.9% from the field. He shot just 32.8% from three-point range, but perhaps he can get that back over his career mark of 35.4% with another season under his belt.
