With the NBA Schedule now in place, expectations can be set for the Golden State Warriors’ 2023-24 season. Over the next few weeks, Blue Man Hoop will provide projections on the franchise’s win-loss record with a month-by-month preview.

October Projections

November Projections

December Projections

January Projections

February Projections

Playoff teams should be aiming to hit top gear post All-Star break, with a busy 16-game March schedule providing the Golden State Warriors an opportunity to do just that. Nine of the 16 games will be against Eastern Conference teams, while the Warriors also face Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on three separate occasions. Golden State were a steady 9-7 in March last season, but they’ll be hoping to better that record next time around.

March 1, 2024: at Toronto Raptors 4:30 PM

Who knows what the state of the Raptors roster will be post trade deadline, with the possibility that a star like Pascal Siakam is no longer with the team. Even so, most expect Toronto to be a lottery team this season.

Result: Golden State win

March 3, 2024: at Boston Celtics 12:30 PM

One of the championship favorites who held a 32-9 record at TD Garden last season. Will be hard to beat all season, though their player availability is likely to be more unpredictable after trading Marcus Smart for Kristaps Porzingis.

Result: Golden State loss

March 6, 2024: vs. Milwaukee Bucks 7:00 PM

50-50 battle but Warrior fans should be optimistic on their home floor at the Chase Center.

Result: Golden State win

March 7, 2024: vs. Chicago Bulls 7:00 PM

Perhaps a surprise upset on the cards here. With Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan, the Bulls always hold some element of threat particularly given the Warriors will be on the second night of a tough back-to-back.

Result: Golden State loss

March 9, 2024: vs. San Antonio Spurs 5:30 PM

Playing the Spurs at home should be about as close to a sure thing as there can be this season, albeit they’re very talented.

Result: Golden State win

March 11, 2024: at San Antonio Spurs 5:00 PM

The young Spurs should feel more comfortable on their home floor, but that won’t stop Golden State entering as favorites.

Result: Golden State win

March 13, 2024: at Dallas Mavericks 5:30 PM

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will be hard to beat at home, and one senses the Mavericks will have a move or two to make before the trade deadline.

Result: Golden State loss

March 16, 2024: at Los Angeles Lakers 5:30 PM

There’s little splitting the Lakers and Warriors heading into the season. Therefore favoritism must go to the home team for the moment.

March 18, 2024: vs. New York Knicks 7:00 PM

The Knicks have won three of their last four on the road against the Warriors, though they’d be unlikely to enter as favorites in this one.

Result: Golden State win

March 20, 2024: vs. Memphis Grizzlies 7:00 PM

The Warriors have won their last three regular season matchups at Chase Center against the Grizzlies, and they’ll be hoping to repeat the dose here.

Result: Golden State win

March 22, 2024: vs. Indiana Pacers 7:00 PM

Indiana will be a challenge at Gainbridge Fieldhouse but they’re unlikely to be a genuine playoff threat this season. Who knows, maybe they’ve packed it up and are looking to improve their lottery odds by this point of the season.

Result: Golden State win

March 24, 2024: at Minnesota Timberwolves 4:00 PM

The Timberwolves will be pushing for a playoff spot without the need of the Play-In Tournament. Motivation for both teams might be incredibly high for this one.

Result: Golden State loss

March 26, 2024: at Miami Heat 4:30 PM

While the Damian Lillard situation remains in limbo, it’s difficult to evaluate what Miami will totally look like this season. One can safely assume they’ll be aspiring to go one better than last season though.

Result: Golden State loss

March 27, 2024: at Orlando Magic 4:00 PM

A challenging back-to-back here given the talent at Orlando’s disposal. Perhaps they’re looking at improving their lottery odds by this point, but don’t be surprised if they’re still in the hunt for a Play-In spot.

Result: Golden State win

March 29, 2024: at Charlotte Hornets 4:00 PM

With greater availability for LaMelo Ball and the return of Miles Bridges, Charlotte should be much improved team from a season ago. That doesn’t change the fact they’re still projected to be a lottery bound team.

Result: Golden State win

March 31, 2024: at San Antonio Spurs 4:00 PM

The third game in the month between these two teams. Anything less than a 3-0 record would be a disappointment for the Warriors.

Result: Golden State win

Projected win-loss record in March: 10-6

Cumulative win-loss record: 44-29
