1. Chris Paul fit

It is still stunning to see Chris Paul in a Warriors uniform. After a decade of playoff battles, the future Hall of Famer now calls the Bay Area home, but how will he fit in with the Dubs?

Head coach Steve Kerr must determine his starting and closing lineups. Do they feature CP3 next to Stephen Curry in the backcourt? If so, does that push Kevon Looney to the bench with the Warriors playing small?

Chris Paul is used to running pick and rolls and operating the offense, which will happen in the second unit. How does he mesh with Dubs’ free-flowing offense when Curry’s on the floor?

There are a ton of questions to answer and will be bumps in the road. It will take time for Paul to adjust to the Warriors’ way, and they will have to adapt to him in the early going. If things are not working by the trade deadline, Golden State could look to move on, but they believe CP3 can help them win a title in 2024.

Draymond Green and Chris Paul do not always get along, and tensions escalating could derail the season, but both legends have the same goal of winning a championship. Expect that to help smooth things over and make the marriage work.

Will the Golden State Warriors win one for the thumb this season? Do any of these issues continue to hang over the team? It will be a fascinating year, featuring plenty of drama and excitement, so please enjoy the ride.
