Golden State has depth questions entering the season. They had arguably the best starting five in the NBA last season and every member is back. The Dubs added Chris Paul, but things are uncertain beyond that.

The Warriors want Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody to be key parts of their rotation, but their production has fluctuated. Golden State desperately needs a backup big man behind Kevon Looney, and Gary Payton II must be part of the nightly mix.

Dario Saric has been a starter in the NBA and is eager to prove himself after injuries have limited him in recent years. He signed a one-year deal with the Dubs this summer and hopes to get the backup center minutes.

Prime Saric was a plus shooter and rebounder with some playmaking chops. He is only 29 and showed flashes in a limited role last season. Can the 6’10 big man stick in the Bay Area?

Dario Saric will have to prove he can be a quality contributor on a contender. Cory Joseph, Rudy Gay, and Rodney McGruder are all veterans looking at the same opportunity. Saric has the clearest path to playing time, but all four hope to earn a place in the Golden State Warriors rotation for multiple years, and if they don’t, will be searching for new homes next summer.
