After handling the Houston Rockets on the road on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors will play the second night of a back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.

New Orleans has looked great to start the season, dominating the New York Knicks on Saturday in an easy win. The team has the No. 1 defensive rating in the league so far this season.

The Warriors won’t be resting players in this game, a welcome sign for bettors who are considering taking the team as an underdog on Monday.

So, with the Warriors going back to this lineup, how should we consider betting in the prop market for this game?

I have three plays, including one for Stephen Curry, to consider for Monday’s action.

Warriors vs. Pelicans best NBA prop bets today

  • Andrew Wiggins OVER 3.5 rebounds
  • Steph Curry OVER 4.5 3-pointers made
  • CJ McCollum OVER 4.5 assists

Andrew Wiggins OVER 3.5 rebounds

Andrew Wiggins hasn’t closed Golden State’s last two games, and he is struggling this season.

However, the forward knows he needs to hit the glass (six rebounds in three games) more often if he’s going to get more playing time.

“Loon (Kevon Looney) was playing good,” Wiggins said after Sunday’s win. “Draymond [Green] was playing good. Klay [Thompson] was playing good. Everyone was playing good. Stuff happens. The coaches make a decision that’s best. We won the game. As long as we keep winning, I’m fine. I gotta give them a reason not to take me out. Rebound more. I can do more.”

Wiggins has averaged over 4.5 rebounds per game in each of his seasons with Golden State, so I don;t mind taking a shot on him with this number all the way down at just 3.5 against New Orleans.

Steph Curry OVER 4.5 3-pointers made

Steph Curry is shooting a blistering 44.7 percent from beyond the arc this season, and it’s even more impressive when you consider he’s already taken 38 shots from deep this season.

Curry has double-digit attempts from 3 in each game this season, and if he keeps up this usage, he’s bound to find the bottom of the net five times. I’ll trust him when he’s on a heater from 3-point range.

CJ McCollum OVER 4.5 assists

At times, CJ McCollum is the point guard for this New Orleans offense, and he’s thrived in that role so far this season, putting up six and seven assists through his first two games of the season.

Now, we get a chance to take this prop at 4.5?

CJ should have the ball in his hands a ton in what should be a competitive game. With Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram both scoring the ball well to start the season, this is how we should wager on McCollum.
