For over 20 years Cyrus Saatsaz has been an award-winning multimedia journalist, senior editor and photographer for media organizations including The Huffington Post, Yahoo Sports, the San Francisco Chronicle, USA Today and KNBR radio. Saatsaz is the author of the book Dogwild & Board: Stories, Interviews and Musings from a Surf Journalist and was formerly a journalism professor at San Diego State University, the University of Houston and Laramie County Community College. Saatsaz hosted nationally syndicated action sports radio talk shows called The Extreme Scene, WaXed and The Dog & Surfer Roadshow, and was the webcast commentator for the Maverick's Surf Contest. When he isn't covering the Golden State Warriors for Blue Man Hoop, you can find Saatsaz surfing waves off the California coast, or going on a road trip with his dog Indy.
