I haven’t written a post in a while, so to make up for lost time, a nice little recap. Captain Jack, wants out of the Bay Area and to a contending team that has the potential of winning a championship, which in all reality, GS has little chances this upcoming season.  Not with the young, blazing Trailblazers and the re-loaded Lakers in the West. Of course you can’t forget the San Antonio Spurs nor the Houston Rockets or maybe even the Mavericks. So out of the West, GS doesn’t look to hopeful, but if we can improve this year, maybe, just maybe we could attract more powerhouse players that will contend with the West. Lots of different emotions were  said when Captain Jack made his statement. Many felt he was somewhat out of line to say those things, while other didn’t say much. One thing is for certain is  that Jackson has requested this trade before, in the past. So we’ll see how this pans out, whether or not this becomes a distraction or motivation for the team to convince Jackson to stay.

The Warriors are still in pre-season mode, in which I hope they work out the kinks before the season starts. I can’t wait till the NBA season actually starts again. Single ticket sales start tomorrow and I’ve already circled a few games that I would like to see, such as the Lakers, Celtics and even the Clippers, just to boo at Baron Davis! But more importantly, I think any games this year will be entertaining, since many players have swapped teams. Example, Allen Iverson has just signed with the Grizzles, and I can almost guarantee, tickets for that game might have risen a notch just cause he signed with them.

Warriors also signed C.J. Watson back. That will be a nice combo duo in the back court, with Monte.  I think this will be a nice bounce back year for the Warriors to make some forward progression. I hope that we have a better record than last. However, if things don’t change, and the Warriors are still the feel good team,  I think that we might need a change in direction. But that’s for another post….
