Though Mario Chalmers insists that he is on the “front end of the top 10 point guards in the league,” just how good is he compared to Stephen Curry?

Well, let’s just say he would be on the bottom end.

Chalmers averaged nearly nine points and 3.5 assists per game during the regular season. He attempted seven shots per game, four of them being from beyond the arc, connecting on just three of his attempts, finishing the regular season shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from downtown.

If you guessed that Curry would not only be averaging more points, more assists and a higher field goal percentage and three point field goal percentage, then you would be correct. Curry averaged 22.9 points per game on 45.1 percent shooting from the field and an astounding 45.3 percent three-point percentage. He also averaged seven assists per game.

It’s clearly safe to say that Curry holds an edge over Chalmers in the Point Guard category.
