The San Antonio Spurs were on the wrong side of an incredible playoff run. The Spurs swept through the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies and went to six games in the endlessly exciting Golden State Warriors series. They eventually found themselves on the biggest stage of basketball once again. In their history as a franchise, the Spurs had never trailed in the finals, until this year.

Future Hall of Famer and greatest power forward of all time, Tim Duncan missed a crucial layup in the closing minutes of the deciding game seven and his sadness was palpable. The Spurs will not allow that to be Duncan’s last Finals moment.

With some of the best veteran players in Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli and Duncan as well as the incredible young talents in Kawhi Leonard, Tiago Splitter and Danny Green, the Spurs will be back, with a vengeance.
