This coming season will see the return of MVP point guard Derrick Rose. After sitting out the entirety of last season with a torn ACL, the basketball world will be eager to see if he can return to his explosive self. If so, there is no doubt that Chicago’s Big Three of Rose, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah will wreak havoc in the Eastern Conference.

Without Rose last year, Deng and Noah carried the Bulls to the second round of the playoffs where they were able to scrape out a win against the Heat in Game 1. However, the Heat bounced back and finished off the injury-riddled Bulls with four consecutive wins. It was Noah who seemed to will Chicago past the Brooklyn Nets in the first round and refused to lay down to the obviously superior Heat.

If they can stay healthy next season and continue to bring their gritty determination to the game, Chicago’s “Big Three” of Rose, Deng and Noah may be the only thing standing between the Heat and yet another return to the NBA Finals.
