When you think of players that try to help keep the peace, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green probably isn’t the first player that comes to mind. As one of the more passionate players in the game, Green often is the one on Golden State that finds himself in the middle of a scrum on the court. However, he wants to lend a hand to his Western Conference teammates at the 2017 NBA All-Star Game.

With the awkwardness that will be Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook being teammates again for one night, Green wants to help. During an interview with ESPN at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, Green mentioned that he’s not there to mediate but he doesn’t want any awkward moments between the two.
Green just wants to have fun like the rest of the players at the game and enjoy the moment. His opinion is one shared by many as the All-Star Game is a chance for the best players around the league to bond with each other and have a platform to elevate their individual brands.
Of all the All-Star Games in history, this might be the most hyped up one yet. With Durant leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder in free agency, the bad blood between him and Westbrook has been building. His return to Oklahoma City is one that fans will never forget.

Now, he and his former teammate are once again on the same side. Steve Kerr is going to have an interesting task juggling his lineups and how he will play the two.
