The Pacers have rivaled the Warriors for some of the best underrated free-agent signings this season.

They bolstered their bench with Copeland, and they also added depth at the point guard position with C.J. Watson.

Watson was brought on to add some bench scoring, as the point guard shot 41.1 percent on 2.7 three-point attempts per game in just 19 minutes.

They also brought him on because D.J. Augustin just wasn’t cutting it. Watson outscores Augustin, gets more steals and shoots better from deep. While Watson isn’t exactly known for his defense, like Copeland, a defensive-minded team like Indiana will allow him to play to his strengths while not hurting the team.

On just a two-year, $4 million deal, Watson is a steal and is a great pickup for the Pacers.
