Dorell Wright signed a two-year, $6 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, a team that was desperately looking to fill out its bench for the coming season.

The Blazers had the worst scoring bench in the league, and that type of roster inflexibility meant the starters had to log many minutes per game. Wright should be able to alleviate some of those issues as he is a solid scorer coming off the bench. The former Warrior shot 37.4 percent from beyond the arc on an average of 4.6 attempts per game. He averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 22.6 minutes.

Wright is a slightly above-average defender. He held opposing small forwards to 14.2 PER when he is on the floor, but his ability to space the floor with three-point shooting and his defense makes him a very solid pickup for his price tag.
