@ Golden State on March 30th
Both New York and Golden State are fringe championship contenders. Neither team will be underestimating the other; both teams will have a chip on their shoulder, having to prove that they belong with the big boys.
Curry’s 54 point performance at Madison Square Garden last season will be remembered for a long time and the Knicks won’t soon forget that it was accomplished at their cost. Few actually remember that New York ultimately defeated Golden State. The Knicks will be doing all they can make sure a repeat performance is not in the works.
Carmelo Anthony will be the best player on the court during those games. Curry is a close second. Both players have the ability to score at will. Depending on how Iguodala guards Anthony and Raymond Felton guards Curry, the games can be tipped by the slightest of margins.
New York improved ever so slightly in the offseason and Golden State did the same. Neither team has a significant one-up on the other and both teams will take a win.
