A few bad shooting nights from Curry and Matthew Dellavedova was being hailed as the second coming of Gary Payton. National media ate it up. Curry was Superman and Dellavedova was his kryptonite. The MVP was Goliath to the undrafted Australian’s David.

But Curry is no ordinary Goliath; he’s Goliath compressed into David’s body. It was only a matter of time before Curry made the adjustments and flipped the switch. And when he did, they were fun to watch. There was nothing Dellavedova could do. But, bless his heart, he tried.
