In ’07, the Warriors went 16-5 in their last 21 games and stole the 8th seed, upsetting the No. seed, 67-win Mavericks. It was great that long-time Warriors such as Richardson and Adonal Foyle were able to experience a taste of the playoffs with the only franchise they ever knew, and Richardson will be remembered as a core piece on one of the Bay Area’s most beloved sports teams ever.
