4. Nov 30 @ Utah, (Present vs. the Future?)

The Warriors are going to get every team’s best shot this season, and you could tell the up and coming Utah Jazz wanted this one.

Curry only had 5 assists, but if you’ve been watching the Warriors this season you know how many “hockey assists” he’s gotten, and they were very important to this game. Steph and Draymond Green ran their pick and roll all night, and when the two defenders in the pick and roll would try to trap Curry, he’d give Draymond a little hook pass or behind the backer, and Draymond would attack the rim and kick it out to a wide open shooter in the corner.

Shaun Livingston drained a corner 3 he got in crunch time, and it was satisfying because Livingston had been working on that shot all off season. The Vivint Smart Home Arena was rocking in the 4th, but Steph hit crowd silencer after crowd silencer as the dubs would win 106-103 and improve their record to 19-0.

Utah was able to survive without going small with the Warriors down the stretch, but they got out rebounded 35-45, and Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors only had one block between them. The Jazz are defying the NBA norm by building their team around two defensive minded bigs and a plethora of wings, which could set the table for a very intriguing 1 vs. 8 playoff series in April.
