Harrison Barnes’ most memorable moments as a Warrior
1. Falcon Flight
Harrison Barnes threw down a memorable dunk against the Minnesota Timberwolves as a rookie.
This is Harrison Barnes’ finest play of his career.
It showcased everything worth being excited about in a young rookie. The athleticism, the power, the aggressiveness was all there. It might be a play that Barnes will never top. And that’s not a shot at him, that’s just how great the dunk was.
Nikola Pekovic‘s descendants will all feel this dunk for the rest of human history.
It was absolutely vicious. Everything about it was perfect. The bounce pass from Lee was on point. Carl Landry’s on-court celebration was great and Kent Bazemore leading the bench celebration was even better. Barnes, typically mild-mannered, even stared down the 6’11, 310 lb giant.
It was easily the best dunk of the season (sorry, DeAndre) and one of the best in franchise history. Aside from perhaps Baron Davis throwing it down on Andrei Kirilenko‘s head, this is at the top of the list.

This will be a dunk that people talk about for many years. It was Barnes’ breakout onto the NBA scene. All that potential that everyone had heard about coming out of UNC had finally arrived onto a professional court.
Barnes’ most memorable moment was his best moment. It’s a positive chapter in Golden State’s book. While his career ended terribly, it’s important to remember that there was something special there.
