Stephen Curry, two-time NBA MVP, showed his versatility when he hung out with James Corden, playing games and belting Disney songs.

Stephen Curry is really good at basketball. He’s won two MVPs and a championship. His “off year” is better than even the best players’ best years.

Curry has become one of the league’s biggest superstars. Outside of LeBron James (and maybe Kevin Durant), there isn’t a bigger figure in the sport. His exciting and transcendent play, his relaxed off-court personality, and strategic marketing campaigns have made him one of the faces of American sports. He’s a titan of the game.

You can hear Curry’s name in rap songs from the industry’s biggest artist. You can see his face on magazine covers. You can catch him in stores everywhere promoting products from Under Armour to Brita.

He’s also no stranger to television. In addition to his (approximately) one million commercials, he has made appearances on several talk shows over the last few years. He’s spent time with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, and others. Now, he’s hanging out with James Corden.

The host of the The Late Late Show with James Corden has really found a way to tap into an online millennial audience. His hilarious bits with high-profile celebrities keep fans wanting more. He’s doing a wonderful job.

He had the league’s first unanimous MVP on his show for a hilarious 10 minute segment. While Corden called him the greatest shooter ever, he told the camera that he was going to help Curry succeed in other facets of life. After they exchanged an intricate handshake, they hopped in the British host’s car.

Corden took Curry to the (mini) golf course. To no one’s surprise, the Warriors’ star defeated him handily Then he beat him in air hockey, rock-paper-and-scissors, and even “guessed” the number that Corden was thinking correctly. Corden admitted that “he’s amazing, I hate him.”

Curry then revealed that he hoped to take part in Corden’s famous “Carpool Karaoke” segment. If you’ve lived under a rock for the last year, the host drives famous musicians around and they sing songs. He’s done it with stars like Adele, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, and many others. He hadn’t had a non-singer do it before.

But Curry is a natural entertainer. He gives the people what they want. Despite being hesitant at first, Corden allowed the NBA’s best point guard to participate after some vocal exercises that included saying “Zaza Pachulia.”

Then it got real. The two of them expertly sang some popular Disney songs. They combined for awesome duets on a song from Moana and a song from Frozen, two huge animated movies.

It was funny and everything that makes Curry great. He’s an absolute killer on a basketball court, but he also seems like a really down-to-Earth guy away from it. He’s not afraid to poke fun at himself and get a little silly.

The true beauty of Steph Curry lies in the fact that he can harmonize Princess Anna’s part of “Love is an Open Door” without missing a lyric and then drop forty points with the same level of ease.
