Draymond and-one

A Stephen Curry three-pointer is probably the most exciting thing that can happen during the course of  Golden State Warriors basketball game. The third most exciting thing that can happen is a Kevin Durant dunk (which we saw a lot of). The second most exciting thing is a Draymond Green and-one opportunity.

Green isn’t a scorer. With Durant on the team now, he looks for his shot even less. Green generally looks to set up his star teammates up for great looks. He utilizes his elite passing ability to do so.

Of course, every now and then he has to try to get his own. Green didn’t score until the second half. He only finished with 9 points on 3/12 shooting. Few baskets were more exciting than this one though.

Draymond Green roars give all of DubNation life. His and-ones are spectacular. Not a bad way to pick up points.

Nevermind the fact that Green probably initiated all the contact. He slightly hooked LeBron James’ arm and rose up. The referee gave him the benefit of the doubt.

The Green-James matchup is really fun. Of course, we all remember the exchange last season that cost Green Game 5 and, possibly, the title. These two guys are fierce competitors that want nothing more than to stop each other.

Green and James have gone back and forth over the past two years. In addition to that one scrum, Green has blocked a few of James’ dunks and the Cavaliers’ star tried to end the forward with a powerful dunk that he narrowly missed.

And-one opportunities are fun and they’re the best when it’s Green doing them. If he can contribute more in the scoring column, then there’s no way the Warriors will lose.
