Has the Kevin Durant-LeBron James missing track been found?
Kevin Durant and LeBron James reportedly collaborated in 2011 on a track. Has the missing song with the two MVPs been found?
Kevin Durant and LeBron James are natural rivals. They play the same position and they’ve been two of the top three players in the league for a very long time. They have now faced off in two NBA Finals.
Despite all of their heated battles over the years, it seems that there was a time when they joined forces. They didn’t come together on the court (though they have done that for Team USA). Rather, they worked together off of it.

A report surfaced that the two superstars collaborated on a song. The track was never released. In fact, until ESPN’s Chris Haynes broke the news after Game 2, the song’s existence had never been known.
Durant, reportedly, flew to Akron, Ohio during the 2011 lockout to workout with James. In between workouts, they decided to spit some bars. They wrote lyrics and recorded it, presumably over a Durant-made instrumental.
The song never made it to the general public. It looks like that in the aftermath of the ESPN story reporting the creation of the track, someone found an audio clip.
It definitely sounds like it’s Durant and James, the latter introduces himself and signs off on the song. This short clip starts with Durant’s rhymes (in which he likens himself to James) then goes to the King It’s short, but it sounds like this is the track in question.
The user is Spider Studios based out of Ohio. They also posted on their Instagram in which they claim to have the song. The studio is based out of Cleveland and has been place of choice for rapper Machine Gun Kelly, apparently. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to believe that this is legit.

Hopefully, the rest of this song comes out. Whoever has it needs to release it for the culture. It’s the right thing to do now that we’ve gotten a taste of it.
Durant and James are both huge music fans and the song doesn’t sound half bad. I do not recommend that they quit their day jobs. They’re pretty good at what they do for a living.
