Golden State Warriors: Kevin Durant has NBA Finals defining moment
Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant had his NBA Finals defining moment on Wednesday night.
When the Golden State Warriors needed a superstar to step up and save them from a third straight Game 3 loss in the city of Cleveland, Kevin Durant was there to answer the call. As the Warriors trailed by six late in the game, the newest Golden State superstar put the team on his back.

After a huge shot cut the lead to two points, Durant then had his defining moment. With the Warriors out on the run and Durant having a full head of steam, the former MVP had a couple of options — drive it to the hoop or take the risk and go for the lead.
With absolutely zero hesitation in his shot, Durant put up the filthiest (in a good way) three and put Golden State back on top. Two free throws later and Durant gave the Warriors the separation that they needed to hold on.
In a game where he wasn’t as aggressive early as he had been in the previous two games, he looked noticeably different at the end. He wasn’t going to lose that game and the look in his eyes as he put down the three showed the side of a man that’s ready to win his first NBA Championship.

While the series is not over yet and the Warriors know no lead is safe, Durant put his team in the best position possible. If there was any question about how he responds to pressure, he made sure to ease all concerns with the biggest shot of his career.
