1. Which team in the Western Conference rises as a contender?

The Golden State Warriors have done one thing effectively this offseason and that’s turn the NBA upside down. Just about every team is ditching their current plans and are either going all in or completely tearing it down.

The days of living in the middle in this league are over. With a team as dominant as the Warriors, it’s either be bad and collect a ton of young talent or acquire every great superstar that a team possibly can.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have cashed in with their young talent and have surrounded them with Jimmy Butler. The Houston Rockets have went out and added Chris Paul and they might not even be done yet.

Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs are a team that’s always going to be there. Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder and will join Russell Westbrook in what should be a great lineup.

The point is that there are teams loading up to make a run at taking down the Warriors. Existing on a level above everyone has shown just how great this Warriors team is. Everyone will find out soon enough which team will stand as a true contender to them.
