Cam Newton

The most noted of quarterback friendships that Stephen Curry has is with Cam Newton. As aforementioned, Curry loves his Carolina Panthers. It has helped grow a bond between him and Newton.

They have both attended the other’s games and have supported their teams. Curry of course got the awesome honor of taking part in the Panthers’ Super Bowl 50 introductions that were in Santa Clara.

Earlier that week, Newton was at a game between the Houston Rockets and Warriors while wearing Golden State gear. Newton and Curry both rose to prominence in their respective leagues around the same time.

There have been many notable friendships among athletes across sports in history. Curry is one of the coolest professional athletes around and it should come as no surprise that he has a lot of friends and people that he respects.

His friendships extend past the sports realm as well, but he seems to have a strong bond with quarterbacks. As the floor general that makes the Warriors go, he knows all about lining up under center 82 nights a year.
