Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant isn’t afraid to speak what’s on his mind at any given moment.

There’s something to be said about those that aren’t afraid to turn the notch up on their personality. Ever since arriving in the bay area, Kevin Durant has felt comfortable letting everyone get to know his personality. Needless, to say he isn’t afraid to speak up and call it like he sees it.

In a world where athletes tend to give cliche responses and the same general responses to questions, Durant speaking his mind is a breath of fresh air. There isn’t a league that probably does personality better than the NBA.

Maybe it’s the environment that he’s in now and the fact he’s making selfless moves to keep the team together. Whatever the case is, Durant has really made his voice heard lately, from defending LeBron James all the way to doing global work as an ambassador for the league.

Let us not forget all the great moments where Durant has put Twitter trolls ultimately in their place either. It’s not often that an MVP and champion will take time to acknowledge them, but he wasn’t afraid to put them on blast.

As the Warriors and Durant keep going, his growing persona will continue further. The true legends are the one that speak loudly and follow with equally noise-deafening actions. That’s been the case with him.

Not everyone is going to like him and that’s okay. There aren’t very many players in the league that are universally liked. It’s the nature of playing in the NBA. For Durant, he’s about as interesting of a player that there is.
