Here are four ways Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors can improve defensively.

When it comes to Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, the criticism of his defense is nothing new.

Despite leading the league in steals and all guards  in defensive win shares over the past three seasons, the perception that Curry is a weak defender remains. It is a perception that his is aware of and eager to change.

The eagerness and ambition to change this narrative could  be the impetus of Curry’s early season foul trouble.  Curry committed 10 fouls in the season’s first four games, and those fouls were a factor in the opening night loss against the Rockets and Saturday’s debacle against the Grizzlies.
