Golden State Warriors: Top 3 plays from comeback vs. Pelicans

Shaun Livingston would start on at least a third of the other teams in the NBA. In 18 games this season, he’s averaged 4.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 15.8 minutes, shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
On Saturday, Livingston posted seven points, two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes off the bench, shooting 3-of-8 from the field (37.5 percent). Other than being the and-1 finisher on that dime from D.West in play number three, he had this nice sequence off the dribble.
Jrue Holiday tripped on Livingston’s leg so it wasn’t exactly the cleanest ankle breaker of all time, but it’s not every day Livingston gets to show off his handle. Plus, I commend the instinct to take it to the rack and throw it down with left hand rather than pull up for the midrange jumper for which he’s renowned.

There’s no other backup point guard in the league that I trust more than Livingston. He’s not the floor spacer that Curry is, but the stretch of games he’s had since starting for Curry against the Orlando Magic has really helped Livingston find his rhythm off the bench, which can only benefit the Warriors moving forward.
