STEPHEN CURRY: 49 POINTS/4 REBOUNDS/5 ASSISTS/8 3’S VS CELTICS
The national sports media can be a forgetful bunch. They have this nasty habit of forgetting just how great Curry is. Against the East leading Boston Celtics, Curry helped the media get their minds right and refresh their memory.
Curry’s performance in a tough 109-105 victory was must-see TV. He and Kyrie Irving gave fans in attendance at Oracle Arena a wire-to-wire show right from the opening tip. While Irving was a problem for the Warriors’ defense, there were no answers for The Chef. He aggressively sliced through the Celtics’ defense and finished masterfully around the rim despite being doubled.
What’s memorable about Curry’s performance is that it was against a Celtics team that plays tough defense that forces the Warriors into tough shots and close the spacing on the floor.

Now, Curry is shooting 43 percent from three, and currently shooting a shade below a 50/40/90 average on the year. Curry is also third in the league in points per game, and his gravitational pull is what makes the Warriors’ offense tick. The million dollar question here: does Curry have a realistic shot at his third MVP?
