2. JaVale’s bet with Shumpert

NBA on TNT posted a special edition of Parking Lot Chronicles during the All-Star Weekend. If you haven’t seen any episodes of PLC, I highly suggest that you do because JaVale is amazing.

In the video posted above, JaVale made a bet with Sacramento Kings guard Iman Shumpert on who would win the Dunk Contest. JaVale picked Larry Nance of the Cavs and Shumpert picked Denis Smith of the Mavs. Obviously, none of them won because Donovan Mitchell was named the dunk champion. It would have been nice if Shumpert lost and had to wear JaVale’s fanny pack like Steph did!

My favorite part was Shumpert saying the Warriors bet so much. He isn’t totally wrong, though. This is Evan Turner getting money from Draymond Green after the latter lost a bet. And this is Nick Young paying Draymond for a Super Bowl bet he lost.

Wonder what kind of thing will they bet on next time?
