The Golden State Warriors continue their east coast road trip by traveling down to Washington D.C. to take on the Wizards.

The Warriors began their three-game east coast road trip with a 125-111 win over the Knicks on Monday night as they exploded in the second half.

Golden State will face the red-hot Wizards on Wednesday night in the second game of their current road trip. Washington has gone 9-3 since John Wall went down with an injury as Bradley Beal and the rest of the Wizards’ supporting cast has stepped up in Wall’s absence.

The Warriors have looked pretty hot themselves after the All-Star break solved all of their problems. Golden State has gone 3-0 after inserting JaVale McGee into the starting lineup following the All-Star break, including picking up one of the most impressive wins of the season over the Thunder on Saturday night.

The Warriors will look to continue their strong play against a Wizards team that will provide a major challenge on Wednesday night.

Some of the main storylines surrounding this game will be off of the court.

The Warriors will be celebrating their championship by spending time with children in Washington D.C. on Tuesday after Donald Trump rescinded their invitation to the White House. Also, playing in D.C. is always an emotional experience for Kevin Durant, who grew up near the nation’s capital.
