Nine seasons and counting…

As both players begin to turn the corner to 30-Year-Old Avenue, it’s reasonable to believe that some of their best basketball is still yet ahead of them, health hopefully permitting.

For Steph, being a part of a perennial championship contender for the last few seasons has had its ups and downs but it’s also helped him grow as a player and an all-time great figure in the sport.

For DeMar, the 2017-18 season, despite a rather unceremonious exit in the playoffs, can be chalked up as a very successful one for the former USC Trojan.

With all that being said, all that remains to be addressed is whether or not we adequately answered the question posed at the beginning of this piece.

Unfortunately, for Curry, his number wasn’t called this year and, while it’s in this writer’s estimation that it should have been despite the game differential, his season will march on in spite of this.

Let’s just hope DeRozan doesn’t need to break out the extra La-Z-Boy recliners for Curry and Co. after Saturday night.
