Warriors: Best Free Agent Signings in Golden State History
By Andrew Ites
3. Corey Maggette
The Warriors brought in Corey Maggette as a free agent in the summer of 2008, which was the biggest free agent signing in team history at the time.
Like Fisher, the Warriors were able to pick up Maggette in the prime of his career as he was entering his age 29 season in Golden State.
Maggette scored 19.3 points per game in two years as a Warrior with 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per night.
Golden State was pretty terrible in Maggette’s two seasons winning less than 30 games per year in both of those years.
However, Maggette was still able to put up a heck of a highlight tape before he was traded to the Bucks.
