Warriors: Best Scorers in Golden State Team History
By Andrew Ites
3. Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant has only been in Golden State for two years, but he’s already established himself as one of the best scorers in franchise history.
At nearly seven feet tall with a silky smooth handle and unlimited range, KD is almost unguardable.
Durant has scored 25.7 points per game in Golden State, which is good for second in Warriors history, and he’s done it with extreme efficiency with a true shooting percentage of 64.5%.
KD became the third Splash Brother in Golden State hitting 40% of his three-pointers on 5.6 attempts per game.
Durant has stepped his game up to an even higher level in the playoffs with 28.8 points per game and a true shooting percentage of 63.5% on his way to two NBA Finals MVP awards.
KD’s arrival in Golden State has pushed this dynasty over the top, and his elite scoring ability has been a major reason why.
