The NBA has announced its schedule for the biggest dates of the season calendar, and the Warriors are heavily featured.

As the league’s top franchise, the Warriors are scheduled to play on all of the biggest dates of the upcoming regular season.

As we wrote about earlier, Golden State will host LeBron James and the Lakers on Christmas Day, and the Warriors will open up the regular season at home against the Thunder after the team receives their championship rings.

The NBA has also announced a couple of other games on Golden State’s schedule.

The Warriors will be featured again during the league’s Opening Week when they travel to Utah for their second game of the year on October 19th.

With Utah and Oklahoma City on the schedule, Golden State will open the year with two teams from the Northwest Division who made the playoffs last season.

One of the other major dates on the NBA calendar is Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 21st) where Golden State will again take on the Lakers, this time in Los Angeles.

The Golden State-Los Angeles matchups will be must-watch television next year, even if the Lakers aren’t yet primed to be championship contenders.

Golden State will see LeBron two more times per year than they did when he was in Cleveland as he joins the Western Conference for the first time in his career in the Pacific Division.

Each of these four matchups will provide Golden State with a unique challenge as all three opponents are expected to be playoff teams next year.

The Dubs went 7-5 against these three teams last year, including a 1-3 record against the Jazz, and they’ll be looking to improve on that record on the primetime stage next season.
