Shooting/Scoring

Durant: 10/10

As a four-time scoring champion, Kevin Durant knows a little bit about shooting the ball. Durant utilizes his absurd ball handling and shooting ability to drop buckets. At nearly 7-feet tall, KD is almost unfair on the offensive end.

For his career, Durant has a total of 20,913 points. He has accomplished this in a number of ways. From slashing and dunking on opponents to knocking down 3-pointers, Durant can flat out score the ball.

His offensive game is by far his most impressive attribute. If he continues to score at a high level, he very well could finish his career as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. For this category, Durant receives a 10/10.

Bird: 8/10

Larry Bird was an amazing scorer. In many ways, he was Kevin Durant before Kevin Durant. He stood at 6’9″ and could shoot the ball with the best of the best. Bird was a force on the offensive end.

For a four year stretch, Bird averaged 25+ points in each season. His scoring peaked in the 1987-88 season when he put up 29.9 points per game. Bird did all of this while shooting in the 50/40/90 club.

He was notorious for shooting teams out of the gym. If Bird caught fire, it was over for the team. He could drop buckets on any defender you put in front of him.

Despite his impressive numbers, Bird never led the league in scoring. Furthermore, he has only 21,791 career points. Meanwhile, Durant is set to pass this mark while playing in fewer games.
