Andre Iguodala

We all know exactly what most of you are thinking right now. How on earth can Andre Iguodala be higher than DeMarcus Cousins? You’re saying, “Did you not see Cousins last season.”

Yes, we all know what Boogie Cousins did, but we don’t know how the recovery process will play out, and most fans should understand the underestimated impact of Iguodala, the 2015 NBA Finals MVP.

His first season in the Bay, the Dubs were a resounding 18.0 points better with Iggy on the court. He was a force, and as he’s taken a more backseat role, he’s still been an integral part of the team’s success.

Without the defensive impact of Iggy, the Warriors, even with their core four, struggled to get past the Houston Rockets in the 2018 Western Conference Finals. Posting a 61% true shooting percentage last season, Iggy is efficient, impactful and vital to team success.

Fans should not underestimate the impact of Iggy, and for that reason, he comes one rank higher than newcomer Boogie Cousins. -NB
