Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant is arguably the best scorer in today’s game, along with Curry and Thompson, however, Durant is what makes the team go.

In the past two finals, he has single-handily helped the Warriors defeat the Cavaliers. Durant’s ranking at No. 1 is well-deserved for the best scorer in the NBA. He’s averaged over 25 points per game in both seasons with the Dubs.

He’s become even more lethal in the postseason as well. Scoring over 28 points per game, Durant has turned it on when it matters most, and to be fair, there have only been a handful of even postseason games where the Dubs played a full, competitive 48 minutes.

The sad part is that Durant’s future with the Dubs is up in the air though. Both Durant and Thompson might be searching for the max next offseason. Will Durant jump ship yet again and play alongside LeBron James in LA like a recent report suggested?

Well, we’ll have to see, but I’d be in awe if Durant breaks up a potential four-peat, assuming the Dubs pull off the three-peat like they’re supposed to. -SH
