Kevin Durant has only been with the Warriors for two seasons, but they’ve been the most productive seasons of his is career to date. Durant joined Golden State after nine seasons with the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder.

He won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award when he joined the league in 2008-09 with the SuperSonics. With Oklahoma City, he won four scoring titles and the 2013-14 NBA MVP award.

After holding a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals with the Thunder, Durant took an alternative to the NBA title, leaving behind his counterpart Russell Westbrook in the process to sign with Golden State that summer in his free agency.

Since then, Durant has won two NBA titles, two Finals MVP awards and raised his career shooting percentage to 40 percent from behind the arc with Golden State. He went from averaging 1.8 3-pointers per game to 2.2 while also raising his 3-point attempts to 5.6 3-pointers per game.

During the 2017-18 season, Durant shot 41.9 percent from 3-point range and raised his 3-point total to 173 on the year. He’s made over 100 3-pointers in consecutive seasons and will look to push his career-high makes to the 200-mark. He made a career-high 192 3-pointers back in the 2013-14 season when he was a member of the Thunder.

He currently ranks 14th all-time in franchise history in 3-pointers made (290). A few more seasons with the Warriors, he’ll go down as one of the greatest sharpshooters of all-time. It also helps that he’s shot over 50 percent from the floor in the past six seasons.
