41. . Point Guard. (2005-08). Baron Davis. 13. player

Before “The Splash Brothers” and their glory days, there was point guard Baron Davis. Davis emerged as quite the sharpshooter, among other things in his time with the Warriors. He only spent 2005-08 with the team, but his impact was felt, especially during the playoffs.

His arrival to the Warriors after being traded by the then New Orleans Hornets began a new era for the franchise. He made quite the name for himself with the Hornets, earning third-team All-NBA honors during the 2003-04 season.

Davis ranks eighth in 3-pointers made (434) despite playing for just four seasons for the Warriors. His best season from behind the arc came during the 2007-08 season when he made 173-of-525 shot attempts from 3. He shot 33 percent from 3-point range that season, also a career-high, and ranked ninth in the NBA in 3-pointers made.

During the 2006-07 season, Davis was pivotal in the Warriors quest for the postseason. They upset the No. 1 seeded Dallas Mavericks as the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference in the 2007 NBA Playoffs.

Golden State became the first team in franchise history to beat a No. 1 seed in a seven-game series. Davis averaged 25.3 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game while shooting 37.3 percent from 3-point land during the 2007 NBA Playoffs.

For his career, he shot 32.2 percent from 3-point range. He showed that he was more than just a point guard in his time with Golden State and he set a tone that Stephen Curry and company follow now.
