Golden State Warriors: Projecting the depth chart at each position
Point Guard
Steph Curry
The two-time MVP Steph Curry easily comes in as our No. 1 point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He’s been their leader for the past seven seasons and has been the focal point for this dynamic dynasty.
Coming into this season, he’s feeling as prepared as ever, a good sign from the 6-foot-3 guard that’s struggled with ankle injuries in the past. We’ll see if this can translate to on-court success and potentially a third MVP.

Shaun Livingston
Shaun Livingston is quietly one of the league’s best backup point guards. He’s not a volume scorer, but he is efficient. At 6-foot-7, Livingston typically finds his spots with ease. Shooting over 50% from two-point range, Livingston is an ideal backup point guard.
His veteran leadership is also a reason why he gets more postseason minutes than any backup guard. However, he’s struggled with injuries, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see their third-string point guard, Quinn Cook, average more in-season minutes.
Quinn Cook
Cook, the former Blue Devil, hopped around the NBA and the G-League before finally signing a guaranteed contract with the Golden State Warriors. Cook is an up-and-coming guard with a knack of scoring.
Splitting backup minutes with Livingston, expect Cook to be a major scoring threat on the Dubs second unit.
