Draymond Green vs Jayson Tatum

As we round out the frontcourt, we’ll get into a few more debatable arguments. The first of the two is Draymond Green vs Jayson Tatum. As it stands Draymond Green is the better player and most major media outlets that released rankings agree.

However, Tatum is certainly not too far behind as it’s likely he’ll take another enormous leap into stardom this season. Tatum averaged 16.4 points per game during the regular season and really got it going in the postseason as Boston played with their back against the wall more than one time.

There’s really nothing to dislike about Tatum’s game. He’s long, strong, athletic, can shoot and can defend at high levels. He’s the perfect player to potentially break into true superstardom this season.

For the Warriors, they have the league’s best glue man, and that might even still be understating Draymond Green’s impact. He’s the captain of the defense and helps the offense run fluidly with his knowledge of the team’s layout and his role.

He averaged 11 points and over seven rebounds and assists last season. His true strength is on the defensive end. He’ll once again be a top contender for Defensive Player of the Year this season and could earn himself millions if he obtains that goal.

Ultimately Green will have the upper hand for at least this season.
