DeMarcus Cousins vs Al Horford

Last but not least is the highly debatable matchup of DeMarcus Cousins and Al Horford. This matchup would easily be won by Cousins if he healthy; however, if he were healthy, he might be elsewhere with a max contract right about now.

Healthy DeMarcus Cousins is the best center in the league, outside of Joel Embiid, it might not even be close. While Cousins is a great individual player, he’s yet to show that he’s capable of helping a team be truly successful.

Horford, on the other hand, has done exactly that. Not the flashiest player ever, Horford knows how to get the job done. He’s versatile, can pass, can defend the perimeter against smaller guards and is as unselfish as they come.

Purely from a skill standpoint, you have to give the edge to Cousins, who has literally put up numbers never before seen in the NBA.

We went through all five positions, and it’s still clear that the Dubs are clearly the better team.
