Coming into the season, many expected Jordan Bell to secure a starting position with the Golden State Warriors and be the fill in for All-Star DeMarcus Cousins. Bell showed promise in his rookie season and appeared ready to take the next step in his game.

Unfortunately, Bell has disappointed through the first nine games. Appearing in eight contests, Bell has played an average of only 11.1 minutes and is scoring just 2.2 points per game. He has yet to make his presence felt on the court and has failed to secure a bigger spot in the rotation.

Bell isn’t playing necessarily bad. He is still blocking 1.1 shots a game and grabbing 2.4 rebounds. However, he hasn’t lived up to the hype that was surrounding his name at the start of the season.
