3. Deep range deadeye

Stephen Curry has always been known for hitting shots from the 3-point line. As time went on, he began to become notorious for knocking down shots from deeper than most players would feel comfortable.

Before we knew it, Steph was pulling from spots on the court that usually wouldn’t need to be guarded. Now, defenders legitimately need to stick onto Curry the moment he passes the halfcourt line or else they could pay the price.

This season, Steph is shooting better from 30+ feet than most players shoot from the 3-point line in general. On the season, Curry is 8-for-16 from 30 feet or farther. Meanwhile, the league average for 3-pointers is just 35.1 percent.

Curry is capable of shooting comfortably from areas that most players wouldn’t dare attempt a shot. This has opened up the game for the Golden State Warriors more than ever before.
