New Orleans Pelicans

Here’s one of the more realistic trades. While it’s unlikely Anthony Davis is shipped, the Warriors are one of the teams that can provide picks and a star-caliber player in return for one of the league’s perennial MVP candidates.

Two first-round picks, a star defender, and a promising young center might not even be enough for Davis, and that alone is scary. The superstar center might command more promising young pieces than just Jordan Bell.

Many of the prospective trades for Davis to LA include players like Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma, players with far more potential than Jordan Bell. However, trading Green and Bell away along with two picks is quite a load, but it may not be enough.

Davis is averaging over 29 points and 13 rebounds. At 29.3 and 13.3, Davis is scoring and rebounding at the highest clip of his career. His threes are up, his assists are up, and he’s personally thriving in New Orleans. The team isn’t, and it’s seemingly starting to get to him.

The Pelicans must get the most out of Davis if they do believe he’s going to leave. Better trade him now than never, and this combination returns exactly what many would think: a star, picks, and a prospect.
