D’Angelo Russell is excited to be with the Big 3

There’s no denying that playing with the Warriors as a young guard trying to find his rhythm with a team would be thrilling. That was the reality for D’Angelo Russell, who was signed a four-year max deal with the Warriors.

While many fans have talked up trading him for more pertinent assets, as of now, Russell is the team’s long-term plan for the future. At just 23, he’ll be around in the league at a high level for at least a decade.

Entering just his fifth season, this will be the first time his team has championship aspiration, and he can thank Thompson, Green, and Curry, three players he’s stoked to be sharing the court with this season, for that.

Averaging 21.1 points per game last season, Russell’s shown improvement each of his first four seasons. He’ll have the opportunity with Thompson out to yet again showcase improvement, hopefully aiming to average over 24 per game this season.

Russell’s excited, Curry’s excited, and the Warriors’ diehard fans are excited.
