All-Star status (3)

In this tier are Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and D’Angelo Russell. All three have been nominated to the All-Star game in the last three seasons, and they’ll help be the crux of this Warriors roster.

As for Thompson, there is hope that he’ll be back on the floor by the end of the season, but Kerr kept expectations in check as he said any setback could force him out for the season. When he’s back, he’s among the team’s best players.

Another staple of this dynasty is Draymond Green.

Back as a prime playmaker offensively, Green’s usage rate should soar back to where it was prior to the arrival of Kevin Durant. For those that do not remember, the season prior to Durant’s addition, Green averaged 14.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.4 assists.

If he can do that again, the Warriors will be a top threat in the West.

Lastly is D’Angelo Russell. Quite the NBA career so far, Russell’s continually been given up on until his eruption last season. Averaging 21.1 points per game, Russell earned his first All-Star appearance, and now the 23-year-old is viewed as one of the best young guards in the game.

He must be a playmaking captain for this roster full of young, inexperienced players.
