Green to the Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are one piece away from being a real contender in the Eastern Conference. As aforementioned, the East isn’t near as strong as the West, and with Green on the roster, the Pistons could make noise.

However, are they willing to part with their above-average yet not elite level young talent?

Luke Kennard has started off his third season red hot. He’s averaging over 15 points per game yet has not taken his overall playmaking to the next level. Piston fans have also yet to see the skill set of lottery pick Sekou Doumbouya.

Add in the first-round pick, and it seems like both parties could walk away happy with the deal. Organizations seem to always overvalue their talent so it’s pretty difficult to see the Pistons part ways with Kennard.

Green, Griffin, Drummond, and Rose may all be a tough fit on a court as well.
