Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors, if their roster was fully healthy, could have a claim to be the best team in the division. Yes, I said the best. Steph, Klay, D-Lo, Green, Cauley-Stein with what we’ve seen from Paschall and Burks off the bench would create dynamic lineups.

Sadly, that’s just not the reality facing the Golden State Warriors this season. After five straight Finals appearances, bad luck in the injury department has caught up with them over their last 20 games.

The Warriors have blowout losses to the Thunder, Clippers, Suns, and the Rockets. However, many of their losses really just haven’t been overly close. Of their eight losses through the first three weeks, five of them have been by ten-plus points.

A few of these games were without Russell and several were without Draymond Green. Obviously, Curry and Thompson have both also been out. This has allowed Eric Paschall the room to shine on the offensive end.

Russell, averaging over 24 points per game, has been the main threat. He’s the on-court leader for this, and they’ll only go as far as he takes them.
