Glenn Robinson III
The Golden State Warriors, as aforementioned, may look to deal their veterans. One veteran, whose poor play throughout the first half a decade of his career, left him without many options this past season. That forward is none other than Glenn Robinson III.
Now, Robinson III is averaging over 12 points per game while shooting over 39% from downtown. The Sixers, who have Ben Simmons, a non-shooter, and Joel Embiid, an average shooter, as their two superstars, could use additional shooting.
According to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, the Sixers have expressed an interest in Robinson. He also notes the potential need for added three-point shooting as a reason the Sixers are targeting quality shooting forwards.
For the Warriors, they may just request some draft capital in return, looking to fill their future roster out with low-value contracts. Second-round picks are certainly low-value deals and, with the Warriors draft history, have proven to be invaluable.
This seems like a win-win.
